It’s insane. I once went out with a girl who told me that the only reason men would want kids is ego, that we want a little person to mold in our image or torture to sate our evil man-instincts. I thought it was an abherrance at the time…now I think a lot have internalized the idea that having kids is an ego project, a lifelong work to create a monument to yourself.
It’s amazing how far off the mark they are.
