@Elfie Not since the big war. Once helicopters came on scene, there was no more market for floatplanes, they’re just too inefficient to operate. Flying boats are better, but we got longer-range aircraft now anyway.

It’s going to be interesting to see if they make anything from these though, there’s gonna be a ferry service that uses underwater planes to to a little tailstand and fly in ground effect. There’s a couple companies trying to make it work again, there’s at least something of a market for them
