No, it is a completelly different language, that is just similar enough, that most people understand it intuitively.
But, that was 50 years ago. And since I wasn't in contact with slovak people the same way as previous generation, I don't understand that shit.
@LukeAlmighty @LukeAlmighty Strange. I could talk with and mostly understand a Norwegian. Not a Swede though.
