What if I told you an ordained Lutheran Pastor would argue for the ordination of women. But conveniently leave out St Paul saying:
“I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet.” (1 Timothy 2:12)
If St Paul were so open to women being in positions of authority as this Pastor claims. Why did he expressly prohibit it? If there was all this equality in the roles, why does he then go on to clarify that there is a hierarchy between men and women (1 Timothy 2:13-14)?

The rest is just reading into Scripture what it doesn't plainly say.

Maybe if women weren't taught to look down on motherhood. They wouldn't so actively seek ministries not intended for them.

I disagree.... by 10 percent.
While I don't mind the idea of women spreading wisdom, tha problem is in the selection itself, since only the most unwise of women seek to be pastors.

My sister spends her time listening to pastors from all religions, and when she speaks, she has a lot of foreign wisdom to share. I do consider her to be one of few people fully worth listening to.
But these women who became pastors tend to be the most moralizing bitches, who know nothing of the weight the life puts upon a man who has to make hard choices. They are the oposite of what a pastor should be.
