Your client doesn't put the person you're responding to name as the first one? I thought it was an universal fedi rule
@Hyolobrika @yangwenli @dave
Good to know I guess.
@dave @LukeAlmighty @Hyolobrika @yangwenli Seems like he posted from a third-party app which may have caused it.
@dave @LukeAlmighty @Hyolobrika @yangwenli The reply is actually to yangwenli. The post mentioned a different user than the one being replied-to first. In Soapbox, we re-order mentions so the replied-to user is leftmost, in order to “fix” issues with remote servers putting mentions out of order.
Now that the default Soapbox experience is to move mentions out of the post content, we can probably remove that. I’m not sure what the intention here was, but it sounds like a misbehaving app.
@alex @LukeAlmighty @yangwenli Also I just realized that Luke is mentioned twice, once in the correct spot, and once at the start. @Hyolobrika might be worth filing a bug report with the dev for your app about it
@LukeAlmighty @Hyolobrika @yangwenli It’s fine on Gleasonator, sounds like this is maybe some Soapbox/Pleroma compatibility issue?
