15 Million Merits is more about how women who crave attentions/fame could end up getting exploited in pornography. i did not recall anything vaguely communist in that episode

The point of the episode is, that people will work their entire lives only to end up enslaved by the capital.

Both the guy and the girl lose both their dreams as soon, as they get offered a better cell. (while still remaining enslaved)

Shut up and dance is incredible.
But I just cannot force myself to watch the series itself, since most episodes do end with literally unfinished premise.

It's like watching firework spark disappear, the rocket rises to sky.... and no explosion follows.

to me shut up and dance relied too much on the shock value of the final plot twist, which i don't recall having any hints during the episode.

That part meant nothing to me, since it didn't matter to the point of the episode. Neither of them had any choice.
