@dave
Yesterday, I was like: 5 more degrees, and I might go swimming.
And it should be frozen right now ![]()
@dave
Also, it is so unbelievably convenient, I am seriously starting to wonder, if the conspiracy theories about chem trails controlling the weather might be true.
@dave
Thanks, I know the official anwser.
But weather modification is a well known scientific discipline that does have many applications of atmosphere modifications. The mere fact they don't do it publically doesn't mean they don't do it at all.
Wiki:
In the early 2000s the USAF released an undated fact sheet that stated the conspiracy theories were a hoax fueled in part by citations to a 1996 strategy paper drafted within their Air University titled Weather as a Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025. The paper was presented in response to a military directive to outline a future strategic weather modification system for the purpose of maintaining the United States' military dominance in the year 2025, and identified as "fictional representations of future situations/scenarios."
It's junk science, along with cloud seeding, and others, having no significantly measurable effect.
It's all down to the energy, it's on a completely different scale, beyond what humanity can currently output.
A single volcano outputs more energy than a large nuclear stockpile, blocking out the sun over multiple countries, and affects temperatures for a year or two, and even that isn't so significant that we should worry about.
The main factors are on a completely different scale:
• Distance to the sun.
• Earth's mass.
• Earth's surface area.
• Earth's reflectiveness, how much of the energy gets sent back out.
Most of climate "science" is straight up fake, with the academic establishment buying into their own propaganda over the decades.
Bonus: Most of the talk about mega storms died down after NASA proved it's impossible on Earth due to lack of surface area.
They were trying to understand the Eye of Jupiter, a 400+ year old storm.
