I simply can’t find anyone I gel with, I either listen to shit like that podcast yesterday where I’m eye rolling and mentally arguing with them, or it’s just listening to drunkards sit around and read twitter

@WashedOutGundamPilot @LukeAlmighty The problem with podcasts is that people who are actually worth listening to for hours at a time usually have more important things to do than sit around podcasting.

It sucks, because we did kinda figure out how to make “good radio” years ago. Content creators think they’re above that though, it’s just like everything else, in that they carry that self-centered “well I like sweatpants, I can wear them to a funeral, if you don’t want me here like this then I’m not gonna show up at all!“ attitude in what they make.

There have been times in the past where I was strongly tempted to start a stream or a jewtube channel or something like that and I've always been stopped by an inner voice saying something along the lines of "no, don't be retarded". So I think you're on to something.

@chainsaw_appreciator @LukeAlmighty Yup. I got em for sure, I just recognize them. Sometimes it’s that desire to doggedly pursue an argument, or correct the record even when it’s a total waste.

The real tough one to have is that constant bitching about “haters” where you focus on detractors all the time….that’s a curse.

The scary thing is that doing it in these parts gets you ID’d more than you’d think. Just having your voice out there, making the same jokes you normally would will eventually net some dude at work leaning over and asking “Hey man, have you ever heard of _? You sound just like him“

Exactly. Same reason I don't joke around normalfags. My co-workers probably think I'm a humorless prick.

I usually click through youtube, but when I add up Raging Golden Eagle and Turd Flinging monkey... these two by themselves are more then enough :D
