@LukeAlmighty @pivoinebleue @corfiot @ruedi America has a very active gun culture, but it's, statistically speaking, not whites who abuse this freedom. And interestingly, the people who won't shut up about "white privilege," how I need to forgo having a good life so that we can issue infinity gibs to blacks, and how any mention of black criminality cannot be discussed in a way that places responsibility on blacks because it's "racist" to do so, are the same people who want to disarm me.

It really activates my almonds. What could their motivation possibly be.

@LukeAlmighty @pivoinebleue @corfiot @ruedi It's just, I can't ignore the context of who is insisting on these gun bans. If we controlled for people who supported the BLM race riots of 2020, then almost nobody is really interested in gun control. It goes from about half the country to almost none of it with that one control. This bit of context simply will not go away. It just won't.

I am aware of these problems in black communities. These need to be adressed and discussed.

But what I'm really saying is:

NO private person should own a firearm.

I used to believe that. Now I believe when the shit hits the fan once every one-two generations there must be a way to keep the psychos away from your family. And the government assholes thinking twice about beating your up in the middle of the street.

@ruedi @pivoinebleue @corfiot And what I'm saying is, no. The people who insist on this sort of disarmament typically also have other policies in mind that are manifestly hostile to people like me. "Step aside you fucking white male" does not combine well with "also, fork over your weapons." Considering that It's usually the same people pushing both of these ideas, the answer is no. That is the final answer.
