The way you can tell if someone is a cock or laid back is by gauging their callsign. Cool guys and nice people who have friends in their unit will get funny, embarrassing ones about stories that happened while they’re in the unit.
When you see shit like this: Monessa “Siren” Balzhiser, you know she doesn’t actually have real friends, and she’s too egotistical to get a real nickname.
A cool dude will have a callsign like “Mole Rat”, “Streaks”, or “Shyster”. Assholes like this have “SIREN“ like she’s something badass.
Ugh.
She was shocked because she didn’t earn it.
And sure, the jet does what you tell it, but what happens if you don’t tell it the right thing? Oopsie!
Also note the other lady - her name is “Mother”, likely because she was the one nagging guys in the unit about cleaning up after themselves all the time. THAT is realistic.
