I used to be anti-block. I would engage with people who would go in these really dumb loops day after day. And I would make no progress. Then I started just blocking/muting everybody who annoys me.

Now my fedi experience is much better

@NEETzsche I just mute because blocking fucks up threads but yeah, fedi with mutes is a kino exp.

I mute as well, but I’m not above blocking if it works better for some unforeseen reason.

It's kinda sad, that the difference between muting and blocking isn't exactly obvious.

@LukeAlmighty @NEETzsche I think a delay function w/ a jitter would be nice so that you get messages from annoying people an hour or day late or something
