@Aether
On one hand: She's right though.
On the other, if your ancestors looked at the 2 room appartment you live in, they would start a bloody revolution.

@LukeAlmighty What if we didn't look at egg prices 100 years ago, but one year ago?

She's eternally flacking for Obama/Biden, as all good "Libertarians" do.

That argument doesn't consider what it will look like in 100 years from my descendants and assumes the end of history. It simply tries to mix economics and technology.
@Aether @LukeAlmighty Price is one thing but lets compare the quality of eggs from 100 years ago to now. Heck I just brought 4 dozen of what should have been decent eggs. Fairly low density yet still within my budget (barely). I can't eat the darn things without wanting to throw up.

Compare that to the homegrown eggs I sometimes get from church and it's not even a fight.
@Crux_Invictus @LukeAlmighty She is lying to. When you adjust for inflation the price of eggs in USA since 1900 has bounced more or less between $2 per dozen and $2.80 per dozen. Averaging about $2.40 per dozen in terms of 2023 dollars.

Price of eggs at the moment is about $4.25 per dozen which is unprecedented
