Men, I would like your thoughts on this article about men dropping out of the workforce in America:

https://fortune.com/2022/12/07/men-dropping-out-work-force-status-study/

@RadixVerum Probably a lot, but off the bat I can tell you women never, EVER ‘get’ us in any meaningful way. Guys don’t think about status the same way, at least not the ones you would like.

Women will extrapolate male behavior by basically projecting themselves onto guys, and say their model is very accurate….but it’s only accurate for feminine, weak men playing by the girl’s social rulebook. Niggers buying $800 gucci belts to waddle around at the mall, chunky wokesters with patchy beards begging to suck the toes of haggard, soul-deadened whores, but not a man whose father passed down the “OS” of male socialization.

The guys women want - the ones with strength and quality - don’t think about ‘status’ the same way as women do, they’re content to stand alone, as long as they’re right.

@RadixVerum I know there’s a lot to chew on here, but come on. The author of the study doesn’t look like someone who’s been to the oil fields. She’s never put on a mask to watch someone demonstrate a weld. She’s never ripped a 1/8 inch hangnail after getting solvents all over her hands.

Listening to women about this when they describe blue-collar men is like listening to the 5’2 obese weirdos on the incel subreddit when they describe all women as an inveterate, animalistic nympho-mercenary. Not enough experience, certainly not enough breadth to describe the phenomena at play in any reasonable capacity.

Men certainly aren’t the ones looking at the douche down the street with a college degree making 30% more of them feeling inadequate about ‘status’. They may feel regret at not pursuing a different line of work, but any negative sentiments comparing themselves to other guys - something that’s pretty rare to begin with - is nothing like the angst his wife feels when she talks to college guys’ wife and hears “oh, so is your hubby still just welding?“

@WashedOutGundamPilot @RadixVerum Yeah, it certainly couldn’t be because prices have skyrocketed and the places most of us work went “We made record profits this year keep it up.” “Oh, so we’re getting raises?” “No, we can’t afford that.”

Also, what reason do the bottom 30-40% of the social hierarchy of men have to work shitty jobs? They’ll be invisible to most women, get nothing from the taxes they are forced to pay and be told constantly how they are the reason for every problem in society. Not to mention negro fatigue.
@RetardedServantOfChrist @WashedOutGundamPilot @RadixVerum @Codeki I dont really think men at any rank in the hierarchy should be working as hard as they are just for women. Ive met people on food stamps and Ive met doctors and both have gotten divorced with their kids taken from them. Men in the past gained from status because it insulated them from the problems of the lower class, but now everyone everywhere deals with the same shit

@PvtProperty @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki There’s that, too, but we’re not talking about the logic circuits, I’m talking about a fulness of soul that only arises when certain living conditions are met. Your body simply won’t fire those synapses when you’re living alone. You may approximate them, but they won’t be the same.

I know she could utterly burn me if she ever chooses to, but I have enough mitigation in place, enough compartmentalization so unless she went hard to the kooky leftist side (which wouldn’t fit her temperament, she’s like a golden retreiver) then it would be difficult for her to cause lasting damage to the family.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki I cant even trick myself into working hard in self improvement by thinking about "living the good life" in America because I know thats just not a real thing for most people who try to have it. The only way I can motivate myself is to remember that I am doing what I am doing because its the correct thing to do. Still though, you can only get so motivated off of a mere obligation.

Essentially thats all thats left. Men are motivated by the fact that theyll be punished for not doing something. Theyre not motivated because they'll ever get anything out of their work
@PvtProperty @WashedOutGundamPilot @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki You can live the good life in America. Family, fraternity, and God give you everything you need to be happy. Stay fit and stay positive (when you can) and you will be happy.

Sometimes you have to fake it till you make it brother.
@Dadbolgainz @WashedOutGundamPilot @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki Oh sure I can, but will I? I doubt it. The promises of America never materialize. Theyre just dangled above you forever so you think one day you'll be free, but youre never free. And even if you make it, you will always have anxiety that what you are doing will be taken away from you in a moment.
@Dadbolgainz @WashedOutGundamPilot @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki Fuck off. Go tell someone else to man up and marry a thot. Im not buying it. Sorry Im not man enough to waste my time.

@PvtProperty @Dadbolgainz @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki I don’t want anyone marrying thots or whores, but I think there’re enough cloistered, directionless girls under 25 who live at home with their intact, welcoming family for us. There aren’t that many of them, but there aren’t that many quality guys (i.e. hopefully us) either, and the girls face a kind of saltwater dating scene.

We look at the ease of which women get sex and attention like dehydrated saharan bedouins, not realizing the girls are surrounded by nothing but saltwater, dying for a glass to drink.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Dadbolgainz @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki Having survivorship bias doesnt change the inhumane reality of modern marriage and modern upper middle class wage slavery. You can be optimistic all you want but when we get handed the divorce papers or 7th increase in work load with no raise we are all equally helpless
@Dadbolgainz @WashedOutGundamPilot @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki Its just changing priorities. Realizing the mirage in the desert isnt an oasis isnt giving up. Its just an adjustment. The way I figure is its my job to have some children and continue my legacy. Doing that means marriage, but I will do my best to be outcome independent and also prepare myself against being divorce raped like my dad was. Having a woman around is the necessary component to having a legacy. They are not the goal itself to me
@PvtProperty @WashedOutGundamPilot @RetardedServantOfChrist @RadixVerum @Codeki The goal should be helping to build a better future for your people. Step one of doing that is taking care of yourself.

We don't have "our people". That concept is dead. The sooner you accept it, the sooner you can start doing something useful, instead of sperging on people who need help.
