nothing wrong with that, that's how all countries have some sort of public education. you can't generate profit teaching 5 year olds, money has to come from *somewhere*
no, the real problem is that the education system is so fundamentally broken that no amount money could ever fix it without some sort of internal change. it's like giving blood for something that has down syndrome
