Jem hadars are insane on many more levels.
@CatLord @LukeAlmighty Stories like that are thousands of year old, there are some historical notes about some shamans doing exactly that in south america and in some part of asia.

There was one such story that got famous recently. I was just talking about the fact, that I remember it from Stargate even after more then a decade, while most stories won't make it sink.
