My point was, that most videos on shaped charge do an awful job at explaining this amazing jet of hypersonic particles...
And this jet is just mind blowing to me.
@LukeAlmighty @Royper From a rational standpoint it makes sense that that is what a "shaped anti tank charge" is.
"Charge" implies that it is explosives and "shaped anti-tank" means that the explosives are shaped to defeat armor.
I must admit that before I understood how it worked I imagined it was something like HESH, but that's a completely different principle. The diagrams that you claim do a poor job explained it pretty well to me though.

Explain why the diagram is wrong, because it matches pretty how I understand shaped charges from an RPG-7s and other early HEAT munitions work.
