What actually is the point of the Atheism vs Christianity debate for you? Is there any particular point, that has much more weight then then any other?

For me, I feel, like the entire debate would be pointless academics without the "reincarnation" claim. Yet, I see many people claim to be christians without believing in that particular fact.

I think, that I heard some christians say, that the most important fact is belief in life of Jesus Christ.

So, do you have any particular fact, that seems to be fundamental to the debate?
