Why does it seem like there's so little right wing art? Is it just companies being selective with what's funded/published?

Again, you're kinda missing the point.
To become an artist is to apply your creativity in the form, that is least connected to the world.
But once you introduce even a but of industriasness, you get people who start manipulating the actual world instead of just drawing on the paper.
