Yesterday, libertarian blogger Julian Sanchez announced that if the right-wing Koch brothers successfully take over the libertarian Cato Institute, where he works, he’ll resign.
Today, Sanchez criticizes progressives who can’t help noting the irony of libertarians complaining about wealthy people using their money to buy the kind of speech they like.

@LukeAlmighty But more seriously, it either sleeps over or completely justifies capitalism, and has absolutely no teeth on how to act when the capitalist system predictively starts murdering, oppressing and immiserating people. At worst, people like Hayek cheer on them!

Ok, but that means literally nothing.
1) Even in the title, the inflation is mentioned as a reason. So, as usual, we're back to money printing.

2) Hunger was across the entire human history a constant. Any exception to that rule is the important factor, not the event of return to normal.

Neither covid lockdowns nor war in Ukraine, and especially not the european energy policy are examples of capitalism, but all 3 are factors to the article, that was shown.

@LukeAlmighty

1) No capitalism -> no markets -> no inflation

2) But we're not in any moment of human history. We're producing much more than what people need, yet some are obese while others starve, while tons of good food gets thrown in the thrash because it's not fit for selling, and donating it would lower the price
