The news are full of a room temperature superconductor. The biggest discovery of the century (unless false obviously 😉 ), so the youtube scientist immediately jumps up to the ocassion to fix the public record and gives people all the information they need on the topic of....... Twitter rebranding.

they are not anywhere near useful for industry, the hype was to drive investor sentiment... lots of startups in the quantum computing space whose sole purpose was to get acquired by Amazon
@LukeAlmighty @BronzeAgeHogCranker from my understanding currently quantum computers dont have software. every new equation needs new physical hardware to be manufactured. the "quantum computer gaming PC" is still an entirely fictional dream.
