Gross jew stuff aside, the idea of spending your sabbath (the REAL sabbath, there kikel) as an actual rest day is nice. Dedicated rest is homey and cozy, the candles are a nice touch.

Also, this difference is the exact reason, why cosher light switch is the prime example of the problem.

Instead of trying the tradition as intended to eventually understand the wisdom, you skip the point in order to fit the sentence. It's inhumane...

Take for instance christmas.
People can spend weeks trying to figure out, how to make their family members happy. And then, they enjoy the company of the entire family in the best mood from the entire yerar.

And yet, there are people so blind, they would still call it a celebration of capitalism.
