Am I the asshole for asking people in electro shop too advanced IT questions?
Well, obviously I think they should know which smart watches have an open OS, (and it would help me buy them)... But these shop people have never know anything. 
the only thing i need from my smartwatch is health and gps activity monitoring, i don't want to run apps on it, and on the one i do have i have all the phone interaction disabled.

I am just fucking tired of locked software, where you cannot use the device on alternative uses, have no idea what it's doing, and cannot even edit the correct use.
My fucking washing machine for example. There is no reason for it to "beep" 21 times. Yes, 21. I live in a small apartment. I either hear the first beep, or I am not home. And Worse, I know it will be done in 2h, so after another 3, I kinda know it's done anyway. Why do I have no way of reducing the beeping?
Simple as. I am no longer able to tolerate this bullshit.
