@YuiHirasawa I think @LukeAlmighty and @coolboymew have it? Hell, I think lots of people on Fedi have the Steam Deck, but I haven't actively looked into that, because I personally have zero interest in it and zero interest in PC gaming in general, so I'm definitely not the person to ask for anything more in-depth
@ChristiJunior @YuiHirasawa @LukeAlmighty I have one, what do you want to know about it?

I made a big review about it on the podcast when I got it

@coolboymew @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty I just got one, and I'm looking for recommended games that work well with the controls and have a UI that fits the small screen well. Could be anything really
@YuiHirasawa @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty @coolboymew itd be easier to list games that DONT work well on steam deck. any action game will work, FPS games mixed results depending on how good you are at controller aiming (try using gyro). some of my favorites:
katamari, the first two games have great ports that run at 60fps
shotgun king, its a mouse game but turn based so using the trackpad is comfortable
death stranding, not a whole lot of aiming and runs surprisingly well, albeit lots of text and menus
slay the spire, dicey dungeons, work great in controller and short sittings
project diva, always been a portable series but the heavier steam deck makes it a little more exhausting
monster hunter rise, not much to say just good shit
@why @YuiHirasawa @ChristiJunior @LukeAlmighty I've been playing on Linux for the past 5 years and lemme tell you, shit was already good but it's getting better and very fast. In the next 5 years everything should work no issues
@jeff @ChristiJunior @YuiHirasawa @LukeAlmighty @coolboymew @why Is building a computer from used parts too expensive for you (or you already built one like I did)? It seems like it's getting cheaper for DIY gaming PCs if you ignore unoptimized AAA gaming benchmarks.
