It's so incredibly over, that even my parents seriously understant to no longer ask how my dating life is going. Because love cannot exist in this environment.

Yes. It kinda helped heal the relationship. :D
It feels awful, when someone does the good old "why are you still single", and it hurts from parents 10 times more. So, to see them accept, that I'm trying, but the game itself is fucked re-assures me, that I'm not insane, and that I can share my actual feelings with them.
And that's nice.

The only term I have an actual use for, since it helps me separate the mather who raised me from someone who couldn't care less about me.

But my point was, that when you hear something so insane, the first reaction is obviously dismissal. That is a healthy reaction to any insane claim.
But now, there is enough evidence even for them to see, that the insane claim is the truth.
