I just saw GTA6 trailer

Is it weird, that it showed literally nothing I could call "a hook"? I mean, seriously nothing.

Instead, they were showing some twerking monkeys. I need an eye bleach after that.

What was the point of such a bleak video?

I mean the point of the game is you’re a petty criminal who, through a combination of animal cunning and just not giving a fuck, “makes it.” This has been the focus of Grand Theft Auto since 1997. I’m not sure what the objection is to a game about criminality featuring tons of nigs nogging and the like.

When it comes to the game content, I always preffered the buisiness level missions, that you got from vice city for example. And in the last game, you worked for FBI loosers.

Bit my point is more about the presentation. They showed so much of the environment, that I kinda missed any particular reason of why I should not just go back to the last game. There is nothing there that I could actually be looking forward to.

For GTA 5, it was heists. And don't tell me, that this image doesn't scream to your should to go and play the game...

@LukeAlmighty

Vice City is the pinnacle of GTA. Vice City was about pride and success despite the law, not violating the law for its own sake. GTA4 and Vice City understood this to some extent this, but over time they lost sight and focused on latent criminality instead.

@NEETzsche

malding cuz u aint on my, fuck 3D “graphics” bich niga

I dunno why but sprite graphics are always superior to me. I wish they never stopped using them.

@NEETzsche @leyonhjelm @LukeAlmighty They stay out of the uncanny valley while 3D is more susceptible. Also more simple & restricted so you can dedicate more resources to making it look good.

Also doesn’t use 16GB of VRAM to render each individual bear pube like they do in Baldur’s Gate 3. More system resources for actual mechanics.
