It's not that raising a child is challenging, always has been. Just that the world is a very different place than it was a couple of decades ago and is no longer safe for raising a child in.

You only need to take a glance over the news and see the rise in grooming gangs, open noncery and Filicide to know that if you aren't ready or capable of raising a child in the information age, then you're probably better off abstaining entirely.

There are a lot of cons with very few pros to having children in this day and age beyond keeping the cycle of life turning. If I were to list every single reason in their entirety and elaborate on each in depth, then we would be here all day.

I don't really think there is much of a point of raising a child in the current year, given how dangerous it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It sounds to me like everyone seemed to make it work just fine except for you, in ages that where daily life was so bad for the average man that life expectancy was 20-30 years less than what it is today, depending on which study you look at. Perhaps it really is as you say, a "skill issue".

I don't see however how it benefits you preaching people not to have kids, specially good people who have vision, purpose and ambition beyond their own lifespans.
Some of our children will die, some of our children will become degenerate, some of us will die leaving their boys without no father figure and in great disadvantage.
But I refuse to capitulate even if I happen to be a darwinian dead end on my own. They hate me beyond my own lifetime and I will endure and conquer beyond my own lifetime or die trying.
