You should be so grateful for your family to announce this. Filial piety is astoundingly short in this country, it's quite crazy to consider how atomized their generation is
I wnated to see more but the comments have gems too. See? not everybody hates their kids.
It's really emblematic of a particularly successful boomer (early gen X from the 60's birth cohort too) to think every generation starts from zero. They just think it's 1965 forever, not realizing that the system has been remodeled to prevent the cream rising to the top like they saw it in their time.
