@LukeAlmighty Imagine being in the Sevastopol fortifications and a Karl Gerät 2 ton mortar shell lands 100 metres in front of you and just obliterates everything in the section. Then Schwerer Gustav fires and an 8 metre long, 7 ton armour-piercing shell tears through the several layers of earth, a concrete reinforced elevated trench, and a couple of buildings behind you. I don't think anyone in the world would have seen more terrifying artillery than that.
