Does anyone have the unedited video of that air force guy setting himself on fire? Seems to be a rare find on the internet now
@eee Yes, you'd be shocked at how Tiktokers have already managed to rape the historical record with even more censored edits.
@eee Okay admittedly watching his legs twitch before he collapsed on the ground was unsettling.

That being said, comparing this to those monks in Vietnam is darkly humorous, and quite a bit sad. Those Monks did it out of a love for their nation and an extreme devotion to their faith. This dude did this because he was a suicidal, deeply mentally disturbed leftist (but I repeat myself) who wanted to go out in a blaze of reddit updoots.

His death will literally be remembered as a joke. A true reddit moment. And for what? All of that for a country he most likely never even visited.

I wish I had better words to describe this, but it's just insane.

@LukeAlmighty @eee He wanted to kill himself and wanted to do so in the most showy way possible, guess he got what he wanted
@professionalbigot69 @LukeAlmighty @eee The difference was hemeyer was a working man, he knew how to build that, plus his faith propelled him forward. Buchnell was just some pencil pushing office worker with no beliefs beyond what he read on Twitter a few days ago
