@Suzu i refuse to believe it took longer than 1-2 years even with today's talentless devs. there have to be like 5 rewrites at least
@DarkMahesvara @Suzu how much do you want to bet it's because they were close to done the game. A coup in the office happened where they went full DEI, and then they fired or #metoo'd all the competent employees realized that they killed the host. Afterwards they had to throw everything out to remake the game from scratch because everyone who assembled the first run of the game is no longer here.
@Spooke @DarkMahesvara @Suzu I just want to add for clarification, this didn't happen. The staff didn't force a coup or anything, this studio was founded in 2018 in Washington to develop concord and nothing else, and sony acquired them in 2023, at which point the game would've already been almost entirely done and sony wouldn't have needed to interfere. It's very likely that they never had a lineup of "competent employees" considering this game took them 5-6 years of development and is still a mostly unfinished live service nightmare.
