Why is it so fucking hard to light up a bar properly? Are you so insanely poor, that the electrical bill for light is too much to handle?
The dim light gives a more intimate atmosphere, it's intentional.

Good air conditioning gives me a breathable atmosphere.
Which is apparently not a priority for the establishment.
