udelat is the perfective? Not sdelat?
@frost
I don't see sdělat there.
Aslo, this kind of question is kinda beyond my pay grade. I am happy I managed to pass the czech language at school :D
@frost
Dobytí hradu (conquering a castle) is obviously an agressive, hostile and violent act. And teachers always say as the prime example of "bít" (fight/punch) as a core where we should use the "i". So, how can violent punching of people in castle be "dobýt"? It's pure bullshit. Long live the English language. Fuck this traumatizing shit.
@frost
Tldr: This language is so full of bullshit, that even people like me, who can speak a 2nd language fluently are still fucking scared of writing in Czech just because it's so insanely difficult and there is a group of elite grammar nazis, who will make it their life mission to make sure you know just how much they hate you.
