@EvolLove @LukeAlmighty Romans invented Phalanx, which is a lot of shields all around everyone.
Somehow I get the feeling that it might be an advantage compared to making bigger and bigger shields.
@EvolLove I think romans used biggest shields. Although there were some high radius Norse shields, which might make them bigger, but the were round.
Yes they went with Shields and body armor. Good decision. More soldiers come back
