Has anyone made a game that focuses on simulating how space battles would actually work? Like, instead of needing constant thrust from the back, you'd just have an RCS for free rotation and omnidirectional mobility. Something like Warthunder in space, possibly with engineering and shipbuilding so players can figure out what works best.

It seriously depends on just what level of simulation you want, but for orbital physics, there are weapon mods for Kerbal space program.

Or, for something actually playable, just remove the speed limit in space engineers, and enjoy your CPU dying :D

Obviously, I have to "warn you". I find neither of these options "fun". God had not created space with entertaining combat mechanics in mind. So, even these "barely realistic" options are way too far when it comes to to something I would recomend to any friend, who wouldn't know what they were actually asking for.

@LukeAlmighty train simulators weren't created to be fun yet they have a fanbase, i'm sure there's some autismos that would enjoy space combat sim

@All_bonesJones
And that's why I actually bothered to respond as well as I could.

I know you actually know what you're asking for ;D

@LukeAlmighty honestly ksp is pretty close. if ksp had like, proper warframe style munition physics and ships spawned in space instead of you having to put them up there you'd basically have what i'm asking for
