You are not a social network., you are a stupid employer/employee matchmaker.
The Buzzfeed quiz about what vegetable is most likely to become your wife, that my ex-coworker took is NOT A JOB OFFER!!!
In the last 6 months, I sent about 150 applications, and got about 6 interviews. It is not a great rate, but it works.
During that time, Linked sent me about 360 e-mails, and 1 message with an "interview offer" from literally someone living in another nation.
So, I cannot say it's useless, but they definitely do not understand what an important e-mail is.
