I tried to model the menus off the style of picture frame used in Victorian-era death photography, but I'm not sure how clearly that comes across at this pixel resolution.

I would say, that the angle is too modern and noone smiled at the old photos. But other then that, it's really hard to translate such thing, and the end vision is always up to the preference of the master himself.
It still looks great as is, but since you wanted to emulate a style, I tried to find the difference.
@LukeAlmighty @coolboymew Yeah I just meant the border texture itself. The layout I don't have control over, just the image they used for the window borders, and I think that's pretty clearly wood, right
