Fire drills are truly made by idiots.

What is the main killer during fires? No, it's not the fire. It's people running without thinking and stepping over each other.

Well, in that case, there should be one rule. LEAVE CALMLY.

But, what are yhe kids being told? They are told 2 rules. 1) leave everything behind and 2) leave calmly.

Do you see the issue? It's pure contradiction on the most intuitive of levels. How do you tell people to leave calmly, while also screaming that they should leave literally everything these kids own behind to burn? It sounds, like even singular seconds are the factor here. But it's not. The entire point of these exercises is to get the thought of seconds being a decisive factor out of the small heads.

Did they even try talking to a shring while designing these rules, or is it just another "password should be random characters" retardation all over again?

If there is a real fire and the fire alarm goes off, everyone will trudge out the door with a "why a goddamn fire drill on the coldest day of the year" also leaving everything because they don't want to get in trouble for having their backpack when everyone meets in the parking lot. So it does kind of make sense...

Why thr hell would they be im trouble for having a backpack, if it wasn't a rule in the first place?

What are you even talking about?

If you're not supposed to take anything with you in the event of a fire, then in a fire drill, the administration would not want you to take anything (e.g a backpack) either.
