F-22 is the most futuristic weapon system known to public. It is also 29 years old.
When you look at the weapon development in 6 years from 1939 to 1945, you should know what 29 years of development means...

The most destructive and unbeatable technological jump in warfate history had bought the US a monopoly for 4 years and 20 days. Therefore, if you got another similar jump, you should do whatever is in your power to keep this timer stopped, until you need to show your hand.
