the problem here is similar to the midwit thing - people that recognize they are smarter than people surrounding them, but unable to introspect that their intelligence/expertise doesn't necessarily generalize to everything.

I used to think, that it was a queation of "memory smart", where most people in midwhit category remember the text, and repeat it without it going through the processing.
But, I have been disproven recently, when I realized, that even among people with capability to use advanced mathemaics and programming still cannot apply these algorythms to their simple lives.
@LukeAlmighty @coolboymew my general feeling is that the introspection is the cause, and our current culture doesn't make it any easier.
