Corporate art is made by human beings, it's still art (that doesn't mean it doesn't suck, "art" isn't a description of how good something is), ai slop is churned out by a computer, and all the AI advocates and companies are explicitly ideological misanthropes.

back in the day when actual artists spent tens of hours on a piece and the patron paid them hundreds of dollars, the cost of corporate memphis art (several dollars, an hour, and a fiverr jeet's soul (also of negligible value)) looks cheap in comparison and are rightly looked down upon
with AI art costing several cents' worth of tokens, some people now argue corporate memphis is now worthy in comparison
for me comparing between 0.00000002 and 0.000000005 is a waste of time and i ignore both types of art

Literally using the labor theory of value on fediverse should be a bannable offense.
the question is why should people pay attention to your stuff instead of someone else's when the world is absolutely flooded with content right now
not saying that someone ~putting in effort~ means you have to care about their output, but someone not sacrificing anything to make something should warrant a discount
