Friday morning #headlines recap

Binance: ~$6.3B stolen, ~$3B frozen, the largest crypto theft on record. Binance blames a compromised DevOps laptop and promises to cover all losses. TRM Labs puts it at $6.36B and attributes it to North Korea's TraderTraitor. Anytime I see a story like this I just assume an incompetent pajeet (but I repeat myself) is somewhere in the chain of events.

US executes “self-defense" strikes on Iranian launchers on the same day CENTCOM's Adm. Cooper briefed Trump in person on attack options. Self defense? Sounds like crying out in pain as they strike them to me…

IRGC says 3 "non-compliant" tankers hit mines. CENTCOM says "The strait is open and safe”, while UKMTO logs a tanker strike and a vessel fire off Khasab. US military tells Congress mine clearance could take 6 months, after an earlier report that SEALs had already cleared them.

Follow up: Yesterday’s report of Hegseth firing Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia was allegedly done because Sylvia was leaking stories. Never relax, even around a high-yaller…

Exxon and Chevron pulled out of ADIPEC (petroleum conference in Abu Dhabi). Air France suspended Riyadh to Dec 12 and Dubai to Nov 7. F1 still full steam ahead on year-end races in the Middle East. I hope that something big happens to cancel those races so innocent people don’t get hurt by F1’s wanton greed.

WSJ reports Ukraine paused refinery strikes under US pressure, likely past the midterms. About three hours later Novokuibyshevsk oil refinery was burning. There will be no meaningful pauses, only a little coke-snorting jew peddling lies and deception. Russia has no choice but to crush them.

Russia continues to down thousands of Ukrainian drones every evening, while about 16 Russian missiles hit Kiev warehouses and likely the Kremenchuk refinery with no interceptions. Ukraine just burning through munitions that we paid for with little effect.

Tech rout goes global. Alphabet -13.7%, its biggest drop on record. Intel -27%, on track for its worst day since 1974. KOSPI -5.36%, with a third circuit breaker this week.

Lagarde resigns from the European Central Bank effective Feb 7, 2027. The euro slid to $1.111, its lowest since May 2025. One take is that he’s leaving so that Macron can influence the successor before leaving office.

Copper stress escalates. Shanghai halted bonded copper and aluminium deliveries. Mysteel (Chinese pricing service) calls the metal "sold out everywhere”. Luckily we don’t use aluminum and copper in a lot of things…

In the midst of canceling weekend rallies, Trump warns a Democratic win means a 1929-style depression. lol fat orange retard, you’ve already guaranteed economic hard times with your ruinous and needless jew war.

Netanyahu and his minions still kvetching and whining about election results, but nothing of note to report.

BREAKING: Dockworkers at around 100 ports across nearly 20 countries plan to go on strike Friday to protest Israel’s war in Gaza, potentially disrupting global shipping. At least the unions used be subtle about the fact that they were nothing more than corrupt political machines, now they don’t even pretend to represent their members.

Female Chinese engineer, 31, dies after befriending ChatGPT bot which convinced her to change her anti-seizure medication dose. Befriending a bot. Damn.

In February 2010, japan offered to enrich uranium for Iran. Two months later, an Israeli defense-linked firm suddenly secured a Japanese nuclear surveillance safety contract. Less than a year later, Fukushima exploded. Grok confirms the series of events, and while they’re no way to confirm the connection it’s not hard to imagine….

Have a good day frens, the weekend will be here soon…

What was the education for, if it didn't give her ability to separate fanfic from research?

They tend to be dumb in some things. Highly educated artist could easily be dumb in this topic. But for an engineer, this should be their no.1 talent.

No, and that was not the case. They're used to entering info into a computer and getting the truth out. I'd argue an engineer is more susceptible to believing AI ullshit because of this mentality.
