But it's not the first time I've gotten that exact sentiment. People braying "PARADOXOTOLERANCE" and then saying "Oh, Popper was an old coot who didn't know anything" as soon as I drop that quote on them.

@r000t it's like they're all programmed to repeat the exact same thing over and over again.
Literally they have pushed every single person out of their party and ideology under the umbrella of the general right when most people don't even subscribe to right-wing belief they simply just got pushed out.
Both poisons make the drinker feel smug and superior, while being massively off-putting to anyone who refuses to partake, while divorcing the drinker from any ability to lead or influence others.
