To further distance myself from Twitter, I finally did the deed of locking my account over there, and posting my new contact page.

@pixel see anytime I delete my Twitter account and forget the password I then use one of my 48 emails sign up and make a new account.

I've done this 14 times over the past 8 years and I can't stop myself.

Social media is one hell of a drug.

The only way I with able to get rid of it finally was to replace it with fedi

@Mr_NutterButter that's why I'm not deleting my account.

Privating my main account is quite the signal and I've been mostly read-only on there for quite a while already.

Don't think I'll ever fully delete, maybe only if everyone of my friends and peers moved to either Bluesky or Fedi.

@Mr_NutterButter I already did the thing of unfollowing everyone on Twitter that moved elsewhere (permanently), to reduce my need to check on Twitter more often, still a bunch of people left though.
