I know my own music library is far from perfect, but at least I categorize things by author and album wherever I can.

At a point I was literally obsessing over adding lyrincs in my music tags. So yeah...

Yeah, but understand that I'm talking about my entire library of music that I've accumulated over 20 years. And just my regular, normie, stuff can get autistic as hell. Between my Nightwish, Linkin Park and ATB I already have almost 1000 songs.

As long as I had a PC, music has always took up at least a tenth of my hard drive space. And as I got bigger drives over time, my collection also grew.

@igeljaeger @alyx how do you two have over 10x the number of songs I do? Maybe it's just because I listen to fairly obscure genres but can you even name like half of the songs in your library?
Not really, no. But I do manage to recognize most of them if I hear them somewhere else. Like I'll be, "I know this song too well. I probably have it in my library".

@alyx @igeljaeger I kinda want to branch out to different artists but my usual method of going through collab albums and listening to the entire body of work from each artist is mad effort.
