I wonder if somebody would buy my switch just because it might still be hackable. I'd get the new one with that money to have the increased battery life

If the new one is completely uncrackable, eventually the old one will be on high demand.
But I think people expect the new one to be hacked eventually, and it probably will, so I doubt that many people will be interested currently in buying a second hand Switch.
