@alyx I don't know if it's just because of the places I hang out in or what, but there appears to be a substantial overlap between Linux users and degenerate weebs that I somehow do not fall into.
@VD15 It's the places you hang out in. I did notice an overlap between fedi and Linux users. But when it comes to weebs I haven't seen enough consistency. Plenty of Windows weebs out there too.
Leaving all the cute weeb speak aside, all that is basically true, and I was aware of the distinction. But for normal conversations, especially with normies, it's way easier, and thus useful, to just say Linux.
