@alyx @icameheretoawoo @igeljaeger The worst in my opinion is that what they are doing is in effect shadowbanning, which has been one of the worst "features" of any social media since it came around, when you make the user think everything is normal but actually his messages are only appearing to himself, others can't see it.

In this case, the admins are making all messages from the muted and blocked instances not appear to their users without informing anyone but those who ask them directly about it, not even the people supposedly being protected from the blocked instances know about it. It's dishonest and deceptive on top of everything else.
