Just had a terrifying thought.
Are memes gonna be considered an art form in the future? Will clueless, poorly paid, teachers attempt to teach kids made up, overly complex meanings to some obscure happy merchant meme?
Will memes basically become the equivalent of poetry?

True, but we're not yet at the point were everybody overanalizes the meanings of memes all the time, nor are there any snob meme artists that condescendingly tell you that you don't understand meme art.
