Thank you Ubuntu for providing a good environment so that I could transition away from Windows. But between the 32bit support shenanigans and the forcing Snap apps on people, I don't see myself ever visiting Ubuntu again in the future, or any of it's derivatives.

I might end up at some point experimenting with pure Arch, but right now Manjaro has been such a good experience that I don't really have a reason to move away from it.

@alyx It's an experience, that's for sure! Make sure you've got a weekend to configure it all if you do it

Yeah, one reason I stayed away from the arch ecosystem in general for so long was because I had heard it was less of a "it just works" experience, and more of a "you have to work to make it run".
If and when I end up trying Arch, I'll definitely try everything in a virtual machine before I dare install it as my main OS.

I do feel like it has come along way in the last year or two in terms of stability and non-breaking updates. Good luck!
