Sometimes it just stops playing music until the connection dies(in Windows) or I disconnect headphones by hand(in Linux).
Nothing interesting in dmesg.

Seeing how it's a cross platform thing, I'm guessing your bluetooth adapter is just bad. Or maybe the manufacturer never really bothered to make decent drivers for it. Hence, on Windows you only got primitive, basic, unfinished, buggy drivers made by manufacturer. While on Linux, you've got whatever open-source driver the community managed to string together.
Maybe it's bad. I just found it lying in a shelf, don't remember why I have it.

That's kinda strange, since Microsoft usually takes the drivers from manufacturers to deliver them via Windows Update. They're not exactly in the business of making drivers for every piece of hardware out there.
I'm guessing in this case, you're basically using a generic bluetooth driver. And if you don't know why that's a bad idea, try using a generic driver for your GPU. These are generally the bottom of the barrel when it comes to drivers.
P.S. oof...
But it uses integrated Bluetooth stack which well, doesn't look that bad compared to shady vendor ones. At least, it is a requirement for Windows Mixed Reality controllers...
